Share Raising a child is very much like building a sky scraper. If the first few stories are slightly out of line, no one will notice, but when the building is eighteen or twenty stories high, the mistake are then notice and confusion begins. A child rearing can be compare to building, if a child foundation is faulty, it become a problem to the society when he attain the age of maturity and every attempts to teach him good manners become futile. It is better to train a child than to repair an idiot. The capacity of children to retain impression made upon them in early days should not be neglected. If you criticize them, they learn to condemn, no matter what you do or give to such a child he will never appreciate it. If they live with hostility, they live to fight. If they live with ridicule, they learn to be shy. If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty. If they live with tolerance, they live with patience. If they live with encouragement, they learn confidence. If they live with fairness, they learn to justice. If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves. If they live with love, they learn to find love in the world.




The best time to mould a clay pot is when the clay is wet; the best time to bend a fish is when it is freshly killed. Training a child can be compare with planting cocoa trees, clear the ground, cut the trees and remove the lumps, till the ground, create a nursery bed with good soil and shade before exposing it to the harsh weather. If you failed to do the necessary pre-planting and planting activities, then you may end up becoming an unsuccessful farmer with no fruit to harvest. If you don’t give a child the important things in life; then he may not be able to survive and give you the glory you deserve. The best time to instill the best character into a child is during the early stages of his life, when he love to cuddle in your arms, play with your bears, love you reading him a story book or singing lullaby on his journey to dream land (sleeping time) and the most time he stays around you . Not when the child as become a dry fish.

The greatest gift you can give to your child is root of responsibilities and ways of independence. Teach him how to walk and he will learn to run on his own. If you don’t show him the way to be responsible life he will never be independent. All he knows to do is to become a parasite to both you and the community he live. He is so weak to think and too lazy to lay his hand on things that can be beneficial to him and he will end up becoming a nuisance. Teach your child the good and bad side of life, teach him to appreciate the good and show him to manage the bad side of it.

But teach him to filter all that are hears on the screen of truth and take only the truth that comes true. Teach him how to laugh when he is sad; teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him to close ears to a howling mob and to stand and fight if he thinks is right. Let him have patience to be brave, teach him to have sublime faith in his creator and faith in himself too because then will he have faith in man kind. What ever father says to his children is heard by adversity. A mother should play her role because simply having children does not justify a woman been a mother.
